Welcome to the Servers and Features Self-paced training.

In this course you will learn about servers, server group administration, and the Commvault Features: File Server, Virtualization, and Database.  

Each feature requires specialized agents to manage and protect data for operating systems, virtual environments, and database connections.  

Agents provide application-aware data protection using APIs and scripting methods. They communicate with backup sets and subclients about the data that requires protection.

Also available are a series of instructor guided demonstrations that focus on how to:

• Perform administrative tasks for server and server groups
• Execute a Push installation to move Commvault® software to different servers within the CommCell® environment
• Configure subclients and add filters
• Add a Hypervisor to protect virtual machines, and
• Configure the database agent to backup and restore the database.

This course should take you about 45 minutes to complete.
