Welcome to the Commvault® Professional Advanced self-paced training. This course is comprised of four modules: Deployment, Advanced Storage Configuration, Storage Policy Management, and Monitoring with the CommCell® Console.

Let’s begin with Deployment.

In this course you will:

• Learn how to navigate the CommCell console and step through the process of executing a base CommCell® deployment.
• Gather the information required to install the Commvault components including the CommServe server, MediaAgent, and file system agents, and
• Learn how Commvault® software is used to encrypt data for data protection and recovery operations.

[3] Also available are a series of instructor guided demonstrations that focus on how to:

• Navigate and customize the CommCell Console.
• Download the Commvault® software and configure software caches and updates.
• Install and setup core components, the CommServe® server and MediaAgent.
• Execute database maintenance
• Perform both a Push and Interactive installation, and
• Configure Inline, Copy-based, and Hardware encryptions.

This course will take you 60 minutes to complete.
