Welcome to the Commvault® Professional Foundations self-paced training. This course is comprised of six modules: CommCell Environment, Storage Configuration, Security, Servers and Features, Data Management, and Monitoring.

Let’s begin with the CommCell Environment.

In this course you will:

• Review the  powerful set of backup and recovery tools in the Commvault Portfolio.
• Learn about the Commvault® software, its multi-faceted CommCell® environment, and its primary core components: the CommServe® server and MediaAgent.
• Learn about the navigation and customization of the Commvault Command Center^TM, and,
• Take a closer look at the CommServe® Server, its DR backup processes, and recommendations how to use and configure the MediaAgent to handle storage efficiently.

Also available are a series of instructor guided demonstrations that focus on how to:

• Perform the core setup of the Commvault Command Center^TM and administer common tasks.
• Add the File Servers and Virtualization features -- the tools required to manage and monitor backups and recovery.

This course should take you about 45 minutes to complete.
